4 things to do in Jesolo when it rains

In Jesolo, rain doesn’t have to change your whole day. Of course, if the plan was beach from morning to evening, you’ll need an alternative. But without leaving town there are several things to do indoors, especially if you’re travelling with children, as a couple or simply want to spend a few hours differently.
Between museums, attractions and exhibitions, Jesolo offers a few easy stops to fit into a day of uncertain weather. There’s no need to plan a big trip: you can stay nearby, choose based on the time you have and decide whether to spend a couple of hours or a longer part of the day.

Tropicarium Park

The Tropicarium Park is one of the most immediate options when you’re looking for something to do indoors in Jesolo. It’s in the Piazza Brescia area and is designed as a route through animals, habitats and different sections.
It’s especially suited to families with children, but it also works for anyone who wants a simple, curious and not too demanding activity. The advantage is that it doesn’t take a whole day: you can easily fit it into a rainy morning or afternoon.
For up-to-date opening hours, tickets and information, just ask at reception during your stay.

La Fabbrica della Scienza

La Fabbrica della Scienza is another useful option on rainy days, especially if you’re looking for something interactive. The route is dedicated to science, technology and curiosity, with experiences designed to involve children, teenagers and adults.
It’s a good idea when you want to avoid the classic “just look” visit and prefer a more hands-on activity. It also works well for half days, when the weather is uncertain and you want to stay in Jesolo without planning anything too long.

JMUSEO

The JMuseo is Jesolo’s civic museum and an interesting stop if you want to give your day a more cultural angle. It hosts exhibition routes, events and temporary exhibitions, so it can change a lot depending on when you visit.
It’s a different choice from the more family-oriented attractions: better suited to anyone who wants to learn about the area’s history, current exhibitions or a side of Jesolo less tied to the beach season.

shopping

In Jesolo, shopping comes in two forms. There’s the stroll among shops, bars and venues along the Lido, especially when the town comes alive; and there are larger centres such as Laguna Shopping and I Giardini di Jesolo, handy when you want shops, food and services all in one place.
The weekly markets are also worth considering: on Friday mornings the market is held in Piazza Kennedy, in Jesolo Paese; on Thursday mornings there’s the one in Cortellazzo, in Piazza del Granatiere; and nearby, on Wednesday mornings, in Via dei Mille. They’re easy ways to see a more everyday side of the town, among stalls, local products, clothing and local life.

A rainy day can become a chance to see another side of Jesolo: museums, indoor attractions, shopping, markets, exhibitions or a trip to the surroundings.
